Apologies I Forgot to mention one very important item. Mom was injured on 12th day after babies were born but kept on going for few days with daze but recovered on 15yh day. We were worried and consulted Wildlife center plus my cousin Who is Ornithologist. With their advice and Grace of God she recovered. Yes. We were worried about the babies. Mother was very weak but with small pace and a lot of total stationary mode ( uncharacteristic of hummingbirds) she recovered energy to bring food and we brought feeders put close by. But with good fortune she got back in energy. (Issue was we had moved some plants away from our huge glass windows and they became total transparent. She, noticing her image snd thinking another humming bird is there to hurt her kids, kept attacking and hitting glass. Became disoriented. I learnt all these after my cousin went step by step analyzing what could have happened: changed etc

They are tiny and cute, but totally assertive in guarding their territory! A lot of bravery packed in those small physiques. Just amazing little fellows!

Note from Wildlife Center in response to our update ( Anand)

Hi Anand and Luisa,

Thank you for following up and for your kind words! It's wonderful to hear that the babies successfully fledged - it's so special to get to see them up close like that. The video and blog post are so cute! Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns. Thanks for looking out for the little ones.

Best,

What is the latest thinking on feeding hummingbirds from a water feeder? Is there still an issue with passing diseases. Finally, what is the best mix or recipe to use?
