This is exactly the same thing my boss said to me this other day. I should not try to delight everyone. Sometimes, saying “no” is not a bad thing. I need to look from a bigger picture and be smart in resource optimization/prioritization.

Great timing for this topic. As we define our personal goals for the coming year, we have to learn to manage our time effectively. Recently I read this Warren Buffett quote "The difference between successful people and really successful people is that really successful people say no to almost everything."
