How many times I have been bitten by a simple misunderstanding - especially across cultural barriers.
Not just the obvious things that come up when people in America are working with people in Asia, sometimes someone from the US working with someone from the UK produces some great mix-ups too!

One time we ordered a birthday cake for someone in our office.
When it arrived, we discovered that the geniuses at the bakery had used icing to write "Big Tip if Before Four" on it.
It turns out that we had the cake delivered and told the bakery we would give the driver a big tip if he arrived on time.
Classic.
