"Men are not prisoners of fate, but only prisoners of their own minds." - Franklin D. Roosevelt
An old Chippewa is teaching his grandson about life.
He says to the boy, "A fight is going on inside me. It is a terrible fight, and it is between 2 wolves. One is evil -- he is anger, envy, regret, greed, false-humility, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, lies, pride, and ego. The other is good -- he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. This same fight going on inside you, my son -- is going on inside every other person."
The boy was quiet for a minute, and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?
"The old Chippewa simply replied, "The one you feed."
